Yes, happy birthday, Lilli-bee!
Mar. 18th, 2012 10:39 pmThis afternoon, I got to watch the Phantom of the Opera musical on PBS. I’d heard the soundtrack, but it was nice to get to see it performed. I’m still humming “Music of the Night,” and it’s eight hours later.
I went down to the office and realized the Ducks’ NIT game was being played across the street, and when I walked back to my car, the game had just gotten out. I tried to discern whether they’d won from the expressions of the dozens of people I passed, but they were mostly neutral to mildly negative, so I concluded they must have lost. It turns out they actually won, though.
Evening: Our Sunday spaghetti, the first episode of the new Unchained Reaction show (teams making Rube Goldberg devices), Lillian’s birthday party (she’s now six), and the first chapters of Catching Fire. I need to learn a technique for reading aloud for an hour that doesn’t make my throat sore.
