New year: no grand ambitions (yet)

This evening D. and I were introduced to the game Carcassonne, which J. had bought me for Christmas, and it was a lot of fun, with D. winning by a large margin. I also baked bread, and made spaghetti for dinner, and finally figured out that it’s quite possible that I can indeed record to VHS from the cable box if I don’t let myself be intimidated by all those “Colorstream” jacks and just try to use a male RCA to male RCA cable setup. That way I won’t lose the Christmas Eureka special when it expires from the on-demand on Tuesday.
