December oddity: blue sky

I’ve just been for a walk, to appreciate the thin, cold sunshine before leaves again. The sun has burned away the fog, as we say, or more scientifically I suppose a new weather front has pushed it away. How strange to see the sun dipping below Blanton Heights while D. is still in school.
