Wednesday happenings
Jun. 29th, 2011 10:06 pm- Great meeting at my office today – now we have a plan of action for trying to get funding for my “narrative coherence” study. It was fun to have JG on Skype on the big screen as part of the meeting.
- The “prehistoric cities” shows are fun. We watched a bunch of “Prehistoric Chicago,” “Prehistoric Washington, D.C.,” and “Prehistoric New York.” I understand there are also episodes for Dallas, Denver, and L.A. My favorite bit was when a Rutgers geologist told us that New York was “the Kansas of Pangaea.”
- First I got a canker sore in the lower front of my mouth, then my throat started getting sore, and now my tongue is a bit tender. If I were sensible, I wouldn’t even try to eat saltines or baguette, because really, it’s not a good experience. I wonder if I’m getting sick, or what’s going on.
