Actually kind of funny

There I was, walking back to my office from a meeting downstairs, kind of spacy but otherwise seemingly a picture of health, when suddenly my nose became super-itchy and I started sneezing up a storm, and, voilà, one of those sudden-onset colds. I thought possibly it was allergies, not that that's how allergies work for me either, but R. said the cold he's had for a week had also started with a sudden sensation of pepper in his nose, and by now I have all the other cold symptoms too.

It reminded me of one time, back in '93 or so, our landlords (who lived next door) invited us inside, and during the course of sitting there for maybe 10 minutes I went from apparently perfect health to a full-blown cold. What a weird cold.

I bought a few more Dragaera books today, and I'm working on reorganizing the proposal. Oh, the weather was nice! It was almost 70 degrees out! The dogwoods are now in bloom.
