Spring break!
Mar. 19th, 2011 10:38 pmBut there’s so much to get done.
I want to get my dissertation survey online. This took a giant leap forward today, when I solved the problem that’s been plaguing me for weeks – I finally figured out how to get easy access to the older versions of my survey, so I don’t have to redo a bunch of work. I’m doing the easy part now; the rest is going to get pretty tiresome, as I have to replicate a particular block of questions some 73 times, probably by hand.
I want to get my poppy seeds and dahlias planted. In a break in the rain today, I got more of the flowerbed weeded. Still a ways to go, though.
I want to get the house a bunch cleaner. B. now intends to be here for his birthday on Monday-Wednesday, rather than Thursday-Friday, so this accelerates the cleaning schedule tremendously. I guess I’ll focus on the most visible aspects and leave the paper sorting for later.
It’s already time to work on my next grant proposal. We’re exchanging e-mails to get the thing planned. Seems like a lot of work.
Also, of course, I want to spend quality time with D. this week! And I’d like to have some sense of having a spring break...
