Video shoot
Aug. 2nd, 2004 08:46 pmWe had a video shoot at work today. Those are always rather interesting, but this one was exasperating in context, as it was scheduled for 5 p.m. H. had said I should be there at 5 p.m. and would get to leave by 5:30; R. had to come home early so I could go; I got there and they'd switched the order around and my part didn't even start 'til 5:50. Bleh. There actually was something for me to do, though, as I sat in a chair right under the camera and pretended to be a TV journalist interviewing H. Having the bright light in my face made me a bit nervous, even though nothing I was going to do or say would be in the video. It ended up that I wasn't home until 6:35 p.m., too late to make the spaghetti I'd planned. Oh well.
Anyway, the point was that we're making a video press release about our project that we'll send to interested TV news programs, and part of it is having H. on camera explaining why people should quit smokeless tobacco and what's special about our program.
