The pleasure of not doing things

eve_primeThe internal deadline for the grant proposal got moved to Sept. 18th, and JG is now thinking, "ack!" and I am now suggesting we submit it for Feb. 1st instead. How much lighter the rest of the summer feels, now that perhaps the proposal will be created at a more leisurely pace.
Meanwhile, I had asked the UO health service to please look up my old immunization records so that I don't have to take measles and mumps shots, since presumably their records from my original freshman enrollment would have that information. They wrote back that they don't have such records, but maybe I'm exempt now, because they generally exempt anyone who matriculated there before 1990! I don't mind not getting two shots.
Update Wed. a.m.: Confirmation on both of those. Yay!
