Death on the Tiber, by Lindsey Davis. Flavia Albia #12. This one featured the local ancient Roman gangster families that have made appearances from time to time throughout the Falco and Flavia Albia novels, and I generally enjoy them less than the others. I did appreciate the guest appearances of not only Falco but also his old buddy Petro and Petro's wife (Falco's sister) Maia. There was also an over-the-top gangster funeral that was pretty entertaining.
