D went to the DMV to get his license today! The testing he'd completed on Saturday was by a private company; he still had to go stand in line. The DMV process took a couple of hours, although I expect he was including the time to get there and back in that estimate. He really likes his photo, I'm told; I'll see it when his license arrives in the mail in about two weeks. He then went to go play Magic in the evening, as he usually does on Monday, instead of more moving activities, so he's staying here again tonight too. I like having him here, but it's still funny that they're prioritizing it so low.

J and his mom did a tour of northern Wales today, along with three sisters originally from India and an elderly couple. They took many, many wonderful photos and enjoyed it greatly. Now it's raining, so they may skip the boat tour and just visit the castle then get on a train toward Oxford.

As for me, I did some work and read outside a while and took a walk. I also watched the finals of this season of American Ninja Warrior, which apparently was even louder and flashier than usual because it gave me a headache. I then rested on J's couch with the cats and no sound louder than purring, and read a while. With luck I am better.

We were surprised at how expensive the Oxford hotels are!
