A distinct lack of progress

J's mom wanted to be at the airport three hours early for their flight to London. They didn't get there quite so quickly, but eventually they were there... and then sat around for four hours, because the plane had mechanical issues, and now they're headed back to his parents' house again. The flight has been rescheduled for roughly 14 hours later. Good thing they leave reasonably near the airport.

Meanwhile, D has been waiting all week for his boss to get back from vacation so he can learn new things he needs to make progress on his work project. Now his boss has Covid.
