Labor Day 2024

I was more relaxed today than I've been in a while, and I defnitely appreciated it. We had a Labor Day barbecue, hosting D and S, as well as DG and AA. It was only 72 degrees F, but we were reasonably comfortable outside anyway. J had fun getting D and then AA to try on the new armor. Afterwards, he and I went on a neighborhood walk. He also spent some time playing the newest Gemcraft game, which so far isn't as irritating (to me) as the last one. It's actually perfectly fine as background noise and activity while I'm reading.

With the cool weather and the totally cloudy sky, it felt like fall. As it happens, though, tomorrow we expect normal summer weather, and then it's getting hot again, with maybe 101F predicted for Thursday. Spreading the heat out a bit more would have been nicer!

I should be fine, as both houses have air conditioning. By the way, the NYT says that Boise currently has the worst air quality in the country.

I heard that too, our air is pretty sucky that's for sure. :(

We're having annoying spring weather - it's cool in the morning, and then gets too warm. Marks it hard to dress appropriately.

Oh, that does sound annoying. Those of us who don't get up in the morning would be at an advantage, I think... :)
