Heat, day 4

Today I did not go downtown for dinner with J, D, and DG - I didn't want to get in my hot car at that time of day. A couple of hours later, though, I did go to the Market of Choice, which was fine. Soon after that, I did a 20-minute walk in 97-degree heat, which was okay. Tomorrow, they say, will be the hottest day of the heat wave, and then it will subside.

I am getting impatient for Biden to come to his senses, and rapidly losing respect for him. Perhaps it's his aging that has caused him to dig in his heels so much...

Biden digging his heels in like this is weird if you ask me. He is starting to remind me of a stubborn person with dementia :(

This heat, ugh. I will take Zilly over to a shady park for a walk right after I meditate at 9:00am. It is predicted to be 80 at that time.

Today the Washington Post says the leading Democrats are starting to switch to sticking with Biden. This feels like a huge mistake to me. Oh well - I guess the election is still months away.

I just think it would be best if they made up there mind and sent a consistent message, this is not helping, sigh.
Don't you think a LOT is riding on the next debate? I won't dare watch.

I hope this is all resolved long, long before that next debate, which isn't until September.
