Fine Saturday doings
Jun. 15th, 2024 11:57 pmToday was JC and MSC's moving-to-Iowa yard sale, so we went by and bought a few things and chatted a while. I drove my car and met J there on his bike; afterwards he rode a while by the river. Later, when he was at his Rolemaster game, I went up into the cemetery for a walk with some altitude gain, which I'm sure is good for me. We'd had a cold front move in with a little bit of rain to help clear the pollen out of the air, and as a consequence I didn't feel like napping all day, which I definitely appreciated.
A follow up on yesterday's head injury: S felt worse in the morning today but, thankfully, somewhat better in the evening. She wasn't quite well enough to go out to celebrate their 8-year anniversary, which is tomorrow, so they'll do it next weekend instead.
Oh, also in the evening, I got J and D to help get that big bookcase the rest of the way into its intended position, so now it's not obstructing movement through my livingroom. Tomorrow I can find its shelves and then put a whole bunch of books onto it!

Date: 2024-06-17 06:26 pm (UTC)I'm glad about the bookcase. My house is filled with stacks of books, and now some of them have their forever home, so I can move around better.
