Warmer weather

My friend Z. came over and visited with me today - we sat in lawn chairs in J's yard and chatted for two and a half hours. Meanwhile, J had gone to Hillsboro, a suburb of Portland, with two coworkers for a company event called "indoor golf," at which he did fairly well. He was sure tired and sleepy when he got home, though! We moved the lawn chairs into the shade and he curled up to try to nap, then ended up reading a bunch of The Count of Monte Cristo, while I read a book about microbes.
