Sorin update - good news

Sorin's lab results were excellent in all regards except for the thyroid level, which was 5.9 when it should be in the 2.1-2.3 range. We'll start him on the pills today and bring him back in for another blood test at the end of the month. I'm glad he's otherwise so healthy and that we can do something easy to help him!

That is wonderful. It is amazing what thyroid levels can do to the health of a cat or dog. I am sure for people too, but these poor fur kids can't communicate as well. What a relief.

Yes, what a relief! Today we will start trying the pills, and if he resists that, then there's a medicine I can rub on his ears.
