Tuesday minimalism

I woke today with a very unpleasant headache that probably involves my sinuses, and probably involves oak pollen, and it was hard to focus. I was pleased with myself for loading, running, and unloading the dishwasher - quite an achievement! Instead of going outside, I mostly stayed in bed and skimmed through the book Persuasive Games, by Ian Bogost, which I don't have time to read properly, so it's not likely to appear on my "Books Completed" list any time soon. Chapter 8 was very helpful for my current writing project, though. I also managed to go to Safeway for the week's grocery shopping with J, and I even sat through the three (!) hours of the ending of the Chrono Trigger game.

Two highlights: The new Hallmark movie set at Niagara Falls was very pretty and relaxing, and I got a very pretty "wibbly ball" at the store, one of those things that used to be called "koosh ball," and this one lights up inside and is light blue and medium pink.

Oh gosh that Oak pollen sounds bad. The Cottonwood pollen here if finally over it seems and I finally feel some sinus relief. I hope the Oak pollen season doesn't last too long.
