Monday evening

We had a nice surprise at dinner when JC's wife and daughter joined us at the Bier Stein. They're moving away in about two months, as she has a tenure track position at Iowa State, and we will definitely miss them.

After that I went to the library, bought gasoline (which I do every three months), finished filling the yard debris bin, and eventually did a walk as the sun was setting - it was surprisingly cool today, and even with a sweater I was rather cold on the walk.

We had temps below freezing this morning, shocking. Hopefully that is the end of it and it will warm up now.

How great you got that walk in and had a nice dinner.

I just should have bundled up more. I had three blankets on the bed last night, which was fine and not too warm.
