Rainy again

eve_primeToday I had a sore throat and was quite tired. It's possible that I'm sick, but more likely it's a combination of allergies and getting too much exercise yesterday, oh well. Nevertheless I wore a mask when I was in J's house and at the store. Today was mildly rainy, and I hope it will knock the pollen right out of the air.
What else? I got some work done on the paper I'm writing - that is, I read some interesting papers I'm going to cite. I also spent several hours watching J play a video game for a club that he's in - it's a game from the 1990s, and ideally he'll finish one run through the game by Friday. I don't think he's going to get there, but he's making an effort. The thing that interests me most about the game is that there are some features I recognize from when my older son, B, played it back in the 1990s - some of the music, of course, since music is memorable, but there's also a character who arches her back and leaps into the air in excitement whenever the team finishes a battle. Very distinctive!
