Friday sunshine

eve_primeMy big plan for the afternoon was to spend about 10 minutes hauling the oak branches from the ice storm out of my backyard and stacking them along the driveway, so that it's easy to cut them up to fill the yard debris bin (which will take many weeks, or maybe we'll eventually have someone haul it), and then to move on and spend a full hour working on the blackberry vines that are growing around the apple tree.
It didn't work out that way, because as soon as I started, my neighbor Amber and her daughter came past, and Amber had lots more to say about that house on the other side of hers, which she now worries has become a meth house. I spent a bunch of time talking with her, and later with her and our neighbor M (who knows two guys who want to buy the house and replace it), and then also with her daughter (who's lent me some more books, and I lent her more as well). When I finally got to the oak branches, I only had about 20 minutes left, and it took all that time to move them, and then I was quite tired. No blackberry progress today.
It was warm enough to sit outside for a bit afterwards, though - the sky totally blue.
The Friday movie was Morbius, which I hadn't heard of before, and which was very inconsequential as a movie. I was expecting it to be more actively bad, based on the reviews, but it was actually mildly interesting to watch - it just didn't feel like I'd seen a movie, once it was done.
