Sleepy

Even though I don't have to wake up an hour earlier due to Daylight Saving Time, I did it anyway, and I've been sleepy all day. I didn't go to the usual Monday meal before they go play Magic at the store; I just went to the store then made dinner at home.

Oregon is considering staying on standard time year-round, which would be much better for people's health than all this switching, or than permanent daylight saving, but it didn't get far enough in the legislature this year. I think the main concern was all the people in Vancouver, Washington, who commute to Portland for work - which makes sense. Ideally Washington and California could join us. Arizona's been on this plan for years.

We all need to follow Arizona's lead on this. It just gets ridiculous. And it really takes some getting used to. I dislike it being so dark in the morning.

The people who want permanent daylight savings don't understand how awful December and January would be!

Right! We get a taste of that being Mountain time when we really should be PST.

Do you not have it there? I think much of Europe has it but I'm not sure at all.

Not at all. Our time is fixed. :)

I do like the extra hour of daylight in the summer - it's nice for relaxing outside - but I don't think it's worth the cost.
