They are better!

D and J are both feeling much better. D, in fact, says he feels "fine" today. He did do a second Covid test, and it was positive, but the line was so faint that he had to use his phone to see it. J, who didn't have Covid, hopes to do a sword event tomorrow. They both shaved today, which neither of them had done in more than a week (ha), and D spent the evening visiting with S. I'm glad they're so much better!

It looks like I managed to escape both Covid and J's cold. On the other hand, I had to spend so much time in my room that apparently I overdid lying on my overly soft mattress, and today my lower back was stiff and sore. I hope I'll get past that soon and continue my respiratory healthiness too.

Yesterday's movie was Jackie Chan's Police Story, which I was surprised not to have seen before. The final action scene is pretty spectacular.

I spent today working on developing my idea for a paper I want to write this spring. I'm having to update my understanding of several lines of research very quickly, which is fun but a bit stressful...

Thank you! I hadn't heard that people could be fully recovered from Covid in five days, but I guess they can!

Thanks! It was almost like having them still be away on their trip, except that I had fewer places I could spend my time.
