Book completed

Winterfair Gifts, by Lois McMaster Bujold. On the one hand, I wanted to include this as a "book completed" for the sake of thoroughness; on the other hand, it's pretty short. I saw that it really is considered a novella, though, so I'll be consistent and include it. This one's told from the perspective of one of Miles's armsmen, Roic, and it's about Miles's wedding. Roic is assigned to welcome and escort one of Miles's old friends, Sergeant Taura, who was genetically engineered to be a super-soldier. She's 8' tall, with a wolf-shaped face and fangs, so it's hard for her to feel comfortable on Barrayar, especially since they're so anti-mutant. I put off reading this for a few days in favor of Falling Free, because I remember it being so bittersweet, but it's certainly a good story.
