Legends & Lattes, by Travis Baldree. The word is out that this is a great comfort read, and I would have to agree - perfect for a day huddled in bed during an ice storm. It's set in a Dungeons & Dragons-type world. Viv, an orc, has just retired from adventuring and hopes to fulfill her dream - opening a coffeehouse. I hope there will be sequels!

Very much so! If I knew more active local D&D players, I'd be buying copies for them. (D&S do play some D&D, but they don't read books...)

I was hoping it would be on Kindle Unlimited, but it's not (and is rather expensive, bah).

Oh, too bad. I have a paper copy arriving here soon, and a copy of the new prequel, and a copy for a friend.
