Postal progress, of sorts, and a new Godzilla

I was planning to get more work done today, but instead I found myself back at the post office, asking again about that lost package. This time they told me to call an 800 number, and I think we've actually made some progress, because the helpful woman I spoke with at the 800 service has determined that the address on the package tracking doesn't match my address - it isn't even on my street - but is still a valid address for our zip code. So at least there's a reason that the delivery has been messed up.

That took lots of time, but I felt better afterwards. This week's Friday movie was Shin Godzilla, a recent Godzilla movie where most of the action took place within the government, among politicians - in addition to the actual rampaging monster scenes. It was an unusual approach but worked well, and I was fascinated afterwards to read the comments by the other people watching who noted that the movie was a direct response to the Japanese government's poor response to the Fukushima catastrophe.

I took a nap after that, which improved my energy level. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather, and now it's D's turn too. I figure our bodies are successfully fighting off something much worse, like Covid or the flu, so I'm not complaining.

Oh gosh that package, how frustrating.

Maybe you guys are fighting off the flu. Hope you both feel back to normal soon!

Thanks! If only I could walk around that huge back room, I bet I could find it. My last resort will be to ask my brother-in-law to look for it back there.
