Day 1234: Much ado

I did go see "Much Ado About Nothing" today, and it was pretty fun. It definitely helped that I'd seen the movie with Emma Thompson several times. Maybe I'll go again?

I got stung by a yellowjacket this afternoon as I was walking briskly past my old car in my driveway, for no apparent reason. I was pretty much fine two hours later, when I left for the play - my leg didn't hurt at all (where I'd been stung) and I was no longer feeling the queasiness either.

J did sword stuff in the afternoon and Rolemaster in the evening and made lots of progress on his major work project, and we even fit in a game of Slay the Spire, which we play cooperatively almost every day. He had a very full day!

Yes, and I realized that I hadn't been stung in 31 years, which is also a good thing! :)

I enjoyed the play, and now that I've gone I'm actually more likely to go again, ha! Although maybe not next weekend, when it's expected to be 101F.

The forecast has pushed it a bit further into the future: 99 Monday, 100 Tuesday/Wednesday. I hope it doesn't happen here OR there!
