Day 1227: Cat travails

I'm told that Azalyn and Ambrose were horrified this morning when DM and TT came downstairs and made breakfast - total panic, especially for Azalyn. After they left, J. spent extra time reassuring the two of them before letting them out for the afternoon. They seemed fine outside, but it was difficult to bring Azalyn in for dinner, and every time either of us opened a door, they tried to dash out, so we ended up having to go in and out through the garage, which was complicated. They won't be pleased when our guests return this weekend. They're pretty upset with us, especially Azalyn, for violating their sanctuary. Poor things. DM and TT are both cat people and quite innocuous. *sigh*

It makes little sense to me, except that apparently they think it should be entirely their territory, I guess.

do cats get jealous? Zilly was just horrible when my really good friend was staying here for a few days. and yes i got the sense from my dog that it was her house and i was her person. cats and dogs, hee hee.

Azalyn is totally an entitled princess and doesn't even want her brother to get attention, so that could be part of it!
