I have no idea whether my energy level was actually higher today, but - and this is a silly thing - I woke with the music from Pee Wee's Big Adventure playing in my brain, which is rather frenetic, and I decided to put it to use. So, without getting too stressed about it, I used that pacing to get a bunch of errands done.

First trip:
1. I drove to the university library to return an interlibrary loan book and get one I needed from the second floor; I had gotten tired of waiting for the incoming interlibrary loan book to arrive.
2. Then I drove downtown (which isn't very far from the university) and bought a gift for D and picked up a book on hold for me at the public library.

I came home, used the university library book, then headed out to get dinner with J and DG. Second trip:
1. I drove to the Bier Stein, met them, and ate, then they went off to play Magic.
2. I checked my phone to make sure the incoming ILL book hadn't arrived, then drove homeward.
3. I stopped at Market of Choice and got groceries; I also went into Rite-Aid to buy computer-reading glasses to replace the pair that had broken, but they were missing 2.25X.
4. I got a tank of gasoline. Then I came home.

After I'd put away the groceries, I checked my university library account again, and... it was there! Third trip:
1. I drove back to the university library and got the book.
2. Then I drove to Hiron's to see if they had 2.25X reading glasses. They did, but 2.00X was better - and their glasses were on sale and cost only a third of what the Rite-Aid reading glasses cost! Then I came home.

Then I came home and filled the yard debris bin and changed the litterboxes. So I really did a lot today! I hope I won't "pay" tomorrow.

What a productive day! And how great the reading glasses were less expensive. :)

Rite Aide is our closest drug store but sometimes their prices are high. Often I can find what I want in the pharmacy section of Albertsons though that is a few blocks closer. That is a fantastic deal you got!

Oh no, scented stores. What are they thinking.

Our cheapish reading glasses are about $7; I bought a couple of pairs recently (I use a +1).
