On the one hand, this is an interesting scholarly book in which the author goes into detail about the various literary ideas that could play a part in writing literature that will be useful to humanity as we collectively move into the Anthropocene era, the era in which humanity's influence on the planet makes live on earth qualitatively different than it had been in the past.
On the other hand, I kept getting irked by tiny errors - it could have used a good copyediting. Today's peeve was the use of "sight" when she meant "site." Yesterday it was referring to a book's author as River Solomon, which made it impossible for me to find the book in our public library. It really was there, though, as I learned when I found that the author's name was Rivers Solomon. Last week or so I was bugged to read about "the discovery of agriculture" when she really meant the invention of it. This is just a sample of the errors. Oh well.
