Day 1214: A message from my television

I spent the last few days learning about Serbia's history so that I could write properly about a speech that Slobodan Milosevic gave in 1989 on the 600th anniversary of a battle that led to medieval Serbia's downfall. So then today I took a break from work and started watching a Monk episode I'd recorded. He meets a woman who's working with refugees from her homeland, which is an imaginary country where they all speak some Slavic language. And then Monk refers to the country's 600 years of oppression! Obviously he was telling me to get back to work.
