Day 1185: Happy Father's Day

eve_primeand Happy Birthday to my cats Jean-Luc, Geordi, and Ginevra, who are now 4.
Today J. played Magic with DG, then went out to dinner at Plank Town in Springfield, then came home and settled into his comfy chair to nap with Azalyn on his lap. Meanwhile D. worked all day in the Safeway bakery (his Sunday job), then came home and was about to shower and head to S's house when I asked him to carry his laundry basket to J's house and wish J a Happy Father's Day.
It turned out his Father's Day card for J was extremely apt - it showed a little cat looking very much like Azalyn, and the cover said, "Work Hard, Nap Hard." :)
I've spend the rest of the evening lying on J's house reading the Couturier book and waiting on five successive loads of laundry. It's now Day 5 of what I assume is a vestibular migraine, so I don't want to move my head very much. It's better than it was a few days ago, which bodes moderately well for D's graduation, which is the day after tomorrow.
