Day 1175: D's milestone

D. came home from class today and announced that he never has to attend class again! That is, of course, unless he wants to learn something more or earn an advanced degree. He still has an exam and some projects to complete.

I'm sure he's pleased about it!

I said to him, "No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks," and he had never heard that before, ha!

J. remembered it as "No more papers, no more books" but I actually found a children's book online that had the entire rhyme as its title and it had "pencils."
