Day 1163: Also yesterday

eve_primeThe cool thing from yesterday that I didn’t already mention is that I finally got to see the last remaining Perry Mason episode from my rewatch project, "The Case of the Impetuous Imp." I’d have been done with my rewatch a few weeks ago except that the last time they were supposed to show this particular episode, they inexplicably showed "The Case of the Nautical Knot," which isn’t even from the same season.
I had thought that with all of Perry Mason done I’d be ready to watch K-dramas, but it turns out that this channel is about to start showing the Monk episodes I haven’t seen yet, so I’ll see how many I can get onto the DVR. I have to say, I’m kind of tired of Monk though.
And then there was also a super annoying thing yesterday. When I was cleaning the litterboxes before bedtime, the toilet in D’s bathroom flooded and the water kept gushing and gushing out until I climbed in far enough to turn the water off. The water was half an inch deep, urgh, and quite a mess. I piled in all the towels I had available, but it was 3 a.m. and I didn’t have time to clean it all up, which involved going to J’s house for yet more towels and then scrubbing everything, so I had to make a path through the room so that D and the cats could use the bathroom this morning. I ended up spreading plastic bags over the top of the wet towels and then putting cardboard box lids on top of that. It was exhausting. So today I had to clean up all that, which was also exhausting, and I’m behind on responding to comments here, sorry.
