Day 1154: A fine day

eve_primeToday I got to meet an online friend and her husband! I'm not going to give details, since it's not like the world needs to know they're away from home, but it was fun!
I also went to the Youth Symphony concert. I sat in front of SH and LM, whom I hadn't seen for a few years - they were looking great and had just returned from a trip to Portugal and southwestern France. Come to think of it, I might not have seen them since the last time we had an in-person at South concert for the Youth Symphony, which would have been December 2019. Tonight we heard works by Wagner, Mozart, and Schumann, along with an arrangement of Scheherazade (my favorite). The highlight was the first movement of the Tchaikovsky violin concerto, which is quite difficult, by Malaya Lockwood. The audience was SO quiet! It was exquisite!
Another highlight of today - my allergies were noticeably better! I'm guessing my oak tree is nearly done releasing pollen.

Gene hiked on up to the lighthouse but I just basked in the sun and listened to the waves, Mmmm.
