Day 1151: Sunny Monday

eve_primeToday was still quite warm, and the forecast calls for two more days like this (85-89F), then three days around 80F, then more like 71F for a while. It will certainly be easier to do yardwork then, which I suppose is a good excuse to wait!
I joined J, DG, and NJ for dinner at the Taphouse before they went to play Magic, for which D joined them. They had lots of players, like 25ish, and D. finished 3rd. Meanwhile, I had a nice time sitting out by our water feature with the cats, reading and such. It's rather pretty, if one ignores all the weeds - there are also lots of forget-me-nots and scilla in bloom.
I finished watching part 3 of Tom Jones today. I don't much care for it; I'm just watching it to be better educated, since it's based on what's considered the first novel in English. It's tiresome, how many times he has sex with other women while pining for poor Sophia, who's often nearby and once - unknown to him - in the adjacent room. Only one more episode to go.
