Day 1146: Neighborhood improvement

When Azalyn was missing, back in January, I think I mentioned that I discovered there was a guy living in Hiram and Sandy's house, the one with piles of junk and random vehicles, the house where all the cats tend to originate. This guy was friendly and told me he'd been charged with cleaning it up. Well, today when I went up the street to check J's mailbox, I discovered a different guy, tossing stuff from the yard into a massive dumpster. It turns out he owns the house next door, and with Sandy's permission he's now cleaning it all up at his own expense! His long-term hope is to buy the house and restore it, which would be a great benefit to all of us. Already it looks SO much better, but of course he's focusing on the front yard, in easy reach of the massive dumpster (which has already been emptied once).

That really would be great for your neighborhood if he buys it and fixes it up! I hope that goes through.

Yeah, it already looks so much better, and he's only done a bit of the mess in the front!
