eve_primeA Day of Fallen Night, by Samantha Shannon. This was a prequel to The Priory of the Orange Tree, and perhaps even longer! It's set about 500 years before the other one. This was another fun and interesting fantasy story in which almost all of the major characters are female and/or LGBTQ; the only straight characters are there as parents of the main characters it seems. I liked it very much.
