Day 1101: Filing jointly

J and I did our taxes tonight, and it's our first year of filing jointly. We used his tax software - I always do mine by hand, but he's right, the software is rather easier (I'd already collected all my self-employment expenses, etc.)

And now that we're filing jointly, we're getting a whole bunch back! It was nearly twice the amount of what he's been paying to have me and D. on his health insurance (which he'd forgotten all about). Yay!

(Happy anniversary of becoming a mom, to me, and happy birthday to my older son, B.)
