eve_primeThe Wedding Party, by Jasmine Guillory. I really read the books in this series out of order: 2, 4, 1, 3. That is, this one was the third. Not that it matters. This one's fun because at the beginning the two have known each other superficially for years and dislike each other, but of course they gradually get over it. It has a better relationship issues to sex ratio than the last one I read, which was the first she'd written. Another thing that I found fun about this one was that it had two locations I'm familiar with: the Berkeley Rose Garden and the hospital in Berkeley that's just off Ashby.
At the end, I wondered if she would write a book about Olivia, a minor character who was the other young single woman, and sure enough, our library already has that... and one about one of the moms, too! Also there are at least two others, which look unconnected, but perhaps the two books I haven't read will connect them up too.
