Today was the solo concert for Delgani's guest pianist from Berlin, Frank-Immo Zichner. I woke with a headache, though, that switched to near nausea (I think it's a vestibular migraine), so I was going to just watch from home. But I'd told him (Immo) that I was going, and I wanted to do my part to make sure we had a good turnout for our guest, so I thought I should go. I did a test trip to Market of Choice, and that was okay, so I then drove to the concert. I could just sit still, so I didn't feel too bad. He played three sonatas, by Mozart (amusingly melodramatic), Beethoven (emotional), then after an intermission, Haydn (not too bad). Then he did an encore, an "Arabesque" by Robert Schumann, and I liked it best of all.

I was just five blocks from the game store, so I then went to visit J, who was playing in a special Magic event. This week's Friday movie was Bedknobs and Broomsticks, which I've already seen enough times, so it was fine to miss it. I got home in time for the end, Miss Price flying about on her broomstick, having just repelled the Nazi invasion.

So happy for you that your headache didn't stop you from attending that lovely concert. I just love Schumann...I need to find a YouTube of Arabesque.

Have you heard about that new nasal spray for migraines that just came out from Pfizer? I can only imagine how much it will cost though.

Have a great weekend! Maybe your weather will get better, ours seems to be clearing up today.
