Day 1076: Walk on campus

eve_primeAs today was a respite from the rain (and snow), I went to two of the university libraries, the main one and also the one in the College of Design. Soon after I left the latter, I was inspired to photograph what I consider the university's creepiest building - it's also the oldest. Until 2020 recently it was named Deady Hall (pronounced "deedy"), but now it's waiting for a new name because Judge Deady was racist.
My campus visit was in the late afternoon, and although of course I was wearing my very good sunglasses, I hadn't bothered with a hat. This made my return walk to my car something of an adventure, as I had to find the shadiest routes I could, which turned out actually to be a fun challenge. I eventually ended up with a headache anyway, oh well!
Crocuses and daffodils have started to bloom, especially on campus. Yay March.
