Day 1070: Chilly Thursday

eve_primeJ and I both slept poorly last night. I just had a (rare) bad dream, while he had to deal with crying cats knocking cans off the counter and such. They did much better today, but if they continue boycotting the litterbox J will probably lose patience with the experiment.
It was cold here today, but only minimal snow. They had almost 11" in Portland, though - the second most snow there in a single day since white people started measuring it.
At tonight’s book club meeting, the two of us who’d finished The Priory of the Orange Tree were so positive about it that one or two of the others are feeling more inspired to keep going. Also two of us had great fun telling the others about Murderbot, with much enthusiasm.
