Day 1060: Symphony happy hour

eve_primeWe went early for symphony happy hour this time, letting us get a good table and our food order placed before the rest of the people arrived, and J. and I got to chat with DG about his job. Then we got to listen to Francesco and our guest composer, Angélica Negrón, who is so cool. J and DG then left so they could be on time for their Monday night Magic event, and I did the symphony trivia contest by myself. And I won! Or rather, I tied for first with Don and Lynn, whose last name I didn't retain. It's fun to win, and it's also fun to get to chat with Francesco and the guest while we pose for a photo. Yay!
I then went to the library, visited them at the game store, bought groceries, etc. I watched an episode of All Creatures Great and Small, and got some work done, then J. came home and I spent the rest of the evening at his house. After he'd gone to bed, I opened the front door, and... snow! Big flakes, nearly half an inch. I expect it will have thawed by the time I get up tomorrow, so it was fun to see some.
