• Watched The Running Man, Dinotopia: Part 2, and about half of a Hallmark movie called Junebug.
  
• Bought a few groceries and walked half a mile, even though the air was somewhat smoky.
  
• Worked on J and his mom's upcoming UK trip.
  
• Started reading Aristotle's Rhetoric, which seems so light and pleasant after Kenneth Burke - an advantage of reading it directly after that, because I doubt I'd feel that way otherwise. Also, it's fairly short.
  
• Experienced a new type of minor cat injury - Ambrose was sleeping on my lap on J's couch and found himself rolling off. Usually he'd just do that, roll off contentedly, but this time he really didn't want to and soon found himself dangling by two of his claws from the side of my knee. Ow.
