Trafficking in colloquialisms

This week's Friday movie was the recent Dungeons & Dragons movie, which neither of us had seen yet. I was surprised that Hugh Laurie was the bad guy - he's in all sorts of roles these days, isn't he? Anyway, the movie was highly entertaining, fast paced, not too clichéd. My favorite character was the paladin - not only was the man extremely handsome, but his personality was very amusing in that he was apparently quite humorless but said the funniest things. One character referred to another as a "son of a bitch," so the paladin was curious as to how the man's mother had been to blame for his shortcomings, and when the character clarified that it was just an expression, the paladin responded, "I do not traffic in colloquialisms." Ha! A fun interview with the actor. I am definitely going to watch the movie again.
