Day 1058: Better!

eve_primeToday, finally, I had a reasonable level of energy. I did quiet but useful things in the afternoon, then I met J. downtown for dinner. He'd been playing Rolemaster and was about to play Magic in a special event for the latest set, so we ate at the Taphouse, then DG joined us and we walked over to the game store, where we met up with three other friends and my son D. Then I did my library errands, and when I got back, their event had just begun. Only three other people were playing besides the seven in our immediate circle, so it really felt like "our" event!
Then I came home, did a bunch of cat-tending and general cleanup, then watched Perry Mason, then did some work. And then they came home and reported the final results: J in first place, D in second, our friend JC in third, and DG in fourth!
I hope I'll retain this level of healthiness, whether it's my immune system bouncing back from fighting off Covid successfully, or the January tree pollen coming to an end, but if not, at least I had a pretty good day!
