Oregon opened its football season with a non-conference game against a nearby school with a really poor sports program - that's how it's often done, although occasionally the opening game is against a major team instead. Today Oregon scored its highest score ever. More important - the team didn't really make any mistakes. No turnovers and only one penalty. That's quite remarkable.

The amusing part is that our mascot traditionally does pushups after ever scoring event, to match the current UO score. Today he had to do hundreds of them. The announcers were speculating that he was probably the most tired person out there.
