To do and do not.
Feb. 21st, 2012 09:02 pmStill sick. I feel better, but the slightest exertion (like standing upright for a few minutes) leaves me a bit winded. Today I did not:
- Resume work on my dissertation.
- Start the next phase of the project with my advisor (reading what early American “patriots” had to say about early American “loyalists” (those who favored Britain during the Revolution).
- Do my afternoon volunteering at D’s school library.
- Walk in the evening with neighborhood moms.
- Sleep as much as I needed.
- Type 1900 words of critique on Haidt’s moral foundations theory.
- Retrieve D. from basketball practice and chat a bit with the dad who runs the famous zebrafish lab.
