To do and do not.

Still sick. I feel better, but the slightest exertion (like standing upright for a few minutes) leaves me a bit winded. Today I did not:

• Resume work on my dissertation.
  
• Start the next phase of the project with my advisor (reading what early American “patriots” had to say about early American “loyalists” (those who favored Britain during the Revolution).
  
• Do my afternoon volunteering at D’s school library.
  
• Walk in the evening with neighborhood moms.

I did, however...

• Sleep as much as I needed.
  
• Type 1900 words of critique on Haidt’s moral foundations theory.
  
• Retrieve D. from basketball practice and chat a bit with the dad who runs the famous zebrafish lab.

And I also watched me some more Perry Mason, and in a bit I’ll read D. a few chapters of Asprin’s Another Fine Myth.
