Day 631: Did it!

eve_primeToday I got my booster shot, but although that's great, that's not why I'm pleased with myself. It's because I managed to get to the post office in time to get both packages shipped to North Carolina. This involved labeling the gifts, finding the boxes, packing the boxes, printing the labels, locating the mailing tape, packaging it all up, loading the boxes into my trunk, and carrying them into the post office, where I was the very last person in line before they closed the line for the day (except for the woman who lied to join the line later - whatever). All trivial except when you're super-short on sleep and one of your arms doesn't work. But, they're away! Yay!
My backup plan was to wait until tomorrow, but the ache in my arm was precluding sleep earlier, so I'd just as soon have nothing on the calendar for tomorrow at all (beyond caring for a whole bunch of cats, etc.), in case I'm a zombie. I later also managed to get my bills paid and to buy groceries with J, so I feel like quite the high achiever.
Now all I need to do today is drink a whole lot more water and feed the cats their late evening meal. Whew!
