Day 610: Laboring

eve_primeI did some actual physical work today - we have to have the fence on the north side of J's property down and out of the way by the end of tomorrow, which realistically means around 5:50 pm. Since it's rotting, a lot of it can just be pulled down, so I did a bunch of that today. J. did some too, but he was pretty busy. In theory the guy whom I hire from time to time to haul stuff away will be here tomorrow to work on the blackberries, so if he shows up I'll see if he's interested in helping with this too. Otherwise I may be pretty worn out by the time J's workday is finished! I hope I'll sleep better tonight than I did last night and that I won't wake up too stiff and sore from all the work I did today.
(We'd been expecting more warning, but the fencing company's email system had issues so we didn't get the Friday email, and it had been raining much of the weekend anyway. Today they replaced half of J's deck. The kittens managed not to get into trouble during the day and were rewarded with a new area to explore in the evening.)
Also today I got a birthday gift shipped to J's nephew, and I made a blog post called "Fighting Injustice with Fantasy Fiction." Oh, and we bought more than $200 worth of groceries when the store was only just barely still open.
